I used acrylic paints in tubes. Check You Tube for matching skin tones with acrylic paints. The tips I've done were Vernet ones that are semi flexible. I roughed them a bit with sponge sanding paper, mixed colors via trial and error. If it doesn't look right, just rinse off and try again... afterward I sealed them with spray lacquer. The only place the paint has come off minimally is the back edge because it thins to almost nothing there. Cutting the back edge a bit more square will give the paint something to stick to.
