I have an idea for an act. I am not saying it is brand new idea. I would like to shake some maracas and then juggle them. I did a google search and it was hit and miss, but no is making any sets that I could find. Anyone ever hear of such a thing?
Thanks Doc |

Jay Stewart, when he was on Ringling, had a pair of maraca clubs. They appeared to be regular Dube clubs that had foam over them.

It is hard to get good balance with such short handles.
Good Luck

Yes the Maraca juggling clubs Rob is speaking of were made buy taking old broken dube clubs, adding some "beans" etc inside. Then crafting foam over them to look more like the instrument!
They were made by Eddie Medrano while we were on the road (his look was a Mariachi player). the Foam made them extremely heavy on the ends. Now to my knowledge no one manufactures juggling maracas, but I have now in my lifetime seen a few acts, and routines that use it. All the same though, they each made there own. Larry |

Hi Larry
I sure would like to see your cigar box stacking routine again.
