I can't wait to recieve mine in the mail.
I found a clip of Paul Romhany doing it with his finger ring as well. I was wondering if the mint was the only useable item ,but watching Pauls clip cleared this up for me. I think I will do the mint first, eat the mint and repeat with a borrowed ring. Sigh, the postman had no magic today, maby tomorrow.

Slomotion came today,it's the new 00.2 version
I was able to perform it straight after watching the dvd. It comes with ,straw, stick, mint, gimmick, five spare &*^%$#,which should keep the mint rolling for a long time. and yes I was able to get my wedding ring to spin as well ,but it span a lot slower than the mint. it makes a very slight noise ,but, this is very easy to cover up. You can choose how fast the mint spins by moving it along the stick to a different possition. Yep I am happy with my purchase, 9/10.

Afraid not Jon. I have never gotten a straw to work very well - if at all. And the wood stirrer must be thin enough, and smooth - I usually have to sand mine a bit with a nail buffer. I can't even imagine spinning a nut onto a bolt with mine.
My SM is very quiet; I'll give it that. But not very powerful. Thank you. Jim |

Bought a pack of Australian Lifesavers, they are about one third smaller than the one that came with the trick.
the hole is a bit bigger ,but they still work ok. I like the idea of eating the mint to show it's normal. And your breath smell great as well lol. Seems we are in the same boat J-Mac,let's hope some one can help us as I think the straw looks the best to me, and I don't want to waste to many %^&*#@,trying to get the straw move happening.

Hey Jon,I use plastic stirrers from McDonalds. They work quite well with Aussie lifesavers.

I was just playing with a heavy spinner ring on a wooden coffee stirrer, works great.
The ring has 8 raised scorpions & is antiqued,it looks kinda spooky. Just tried it with one of these- http://www.my-jewels.com/servlet/the-206......s/Detail (great for a 4 digit prediction) Nice slow rotation, looks really nice. Mike |

I really love this little piece of magic! I always keep this with me along side Ignition ( Magic Smith) as its perfect on pocket space and impromptu along with multiple uses outside of it created use if you know what I mean! Also the gimmick doesn't get in the way when I perform other tricks with it. I spent huge money on Ultracinese and although it served me very well Slow Motion is for me anyway a far better idea, also it's great to be sleeveless . 10/10 for me guys.

After reading multiple reviews about Slomotion, I decided to take the plunge. Came in the mail today and I'm really pleased with how well it works. Like some of the others here, I too bought ultracinese and found it very finicky and has since sat in my closet for years. Although I haven't used it yet for any laypeople, I'm really excited to try! Mine does make a slight bit of noise but I'm sure that once I'm in the restaurant performing, the ambient noise will cover it. I bought normal lifesavers (as I'm not a fan of the mint ones) and was disappointed to discover that the hole is too small to even try. I have a feeling that even if it was big enough, the slightly tacky texture would make it difficult to spin. For now I'll just have to stick to the white ones.
