It was great to see The Beckers on the cover of the January 2012 issue of MUM and the great article that went along with it. As wonderful as it was to see this story, the true highlight of the issue for me was the two page spread on another Pittsburgh performer, the legendary Eddie Ace! Be sure to read this article about his sponge sculptures and more importantly a really great guy!

I think this is clearly one of the best Mike Close edited issues. The content is varied and all good. Something for everyone. Collector's, stage, close up, children's magic. If you don't get the MUM you need to join up so you can enjoy it.
New Columnists like Levent and Ken Klosterman add to the wonderful mix of articles. I have known Fred for almost thirty years. He is a very good friend and everything in the article is dead on. I only hope I get to know Bobbie in the years to come as well as I do friend. Eddie is a great guy who is so quiet about his talent. I hope the world starts to hear more about Eddie's great works of art. They are almost too *** pretty to use. Richard
