I have enjoyed MD ever since I purchased it, but just a few days ago I found the ESP cube in my winter jacket pocket at school and seasonal inspiration struck just in time for the faculty Christmas party that afternoon.
On the Internet I found free clipart which I resized in Paint and printed on a single oversize adhesive label. It took just a few minutes to trim six stickable squares to modify the circle with a Christmas wreath, the cross became a sign to the North Pole, a triangular Christmas tree covered the wavy lines, a wrapped present went over the square and a Christmas star and a six-sides snowflake completed the faces with easily recallable images. It had a very impromptu look about it; asking some of my fellow staff members to relax and set one of the images uppermost and then cover it with a spare styrofoam cup, I turned this into a opportunity for half a dozen quick readings and revelations of their color preferences and seasonal preoccupations. It was a lot of fun and seemed to impress those gathered around. It occurred to me driving home that with very little effort one could create a whole set of such stickers--one for Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween as well as Christmas and a refreshing year-round topicality of MD would also make this equally effective with younger spectators. The versatility of MD just seems to increase with the passage of time--thanks for a reliable product which can have such an amazing impact on a wide range of spectators. And Seasons Greetings from Washington state, Charlie
Arthur C Clarke was mistaken--Magic has always been the most advanced form of technology.

Hi Charlie,
Thanks for your comments and those ideas. I am often asked about the whiteboard cube, the idea originally came from Joel Bauer for corporate work. I think it is a great idea and can be very impromptu. I also tell people to do very much what you did and customize the color cube with color laser print sticks because then you can play off either the color and the picture (if the sticker is smaller than the side of the cube). Keep the ideas flowing, -Craig

Hi Craig,
Love your products and MD is my favourite as I get so much use out of it. I remember a while ago there was a dice released that looked more like a die from a game (can't remember what it was called but it was white?) Just wondering if something like that will ever be available again? Darren

I was looking for the same die also. Was it called the custom die?
Also wondering if you are going to make more of those. Thanks Shawn |
