I know it is a matter of personal opinion, but I would like to hear your views. No doubt both are strong effects, but if you could only perform one, which would it be?

For pocket management purposes, I would select The MacDonald Aces because the use of standard gaff cards could be routined into other effects, whereas the AITF gaffs are rather limited to it's unique design.

I'm with saysold1 on this one. I like Dream of Aces better than the other two.

I love MacDonald's Aces, but specifically with Allen Ackerman's prequel sequel.

On their own I don't think an audience will be able to tell a big difference. In that case it is my feeling that the stronger reaction will come from the way you perform them.

Aces In Their Faces is a wonderful trick. The first reveal, where the aces appear face up in the spread deck is very magical. Now it comes with a dvd with several outstanding routines.
Is it better than MacDonald's $100 Ace Trick? I think it's a personal choice on what you want to/have more fun performing. The audience seems to love them both. |

Well, with MacDonald's Aces you can do various vanishes and can show clearly the Aces before they're gone

I like MacDonald's Aces because of it's versatility.

I truly on the fence about this trick Mac Aces due to the use of gaffs, but I love the illusion.
I've been searching this out for a few weeks, can anyone point where is this in print? or do I need to buy a prepackaged trick. |

@Duaut,
"Mc Donald's 100$ Ace Trick" in Dai Vernon's More Inner Secrets of Card Magic by Lewis Ganson. The book is one of three and you can buy the whole lot as Dai Vernon's Inner Card Trilogy (L&L Publsihing). However, you will still need the required cards. Fun Inc/Royal Magic released a McDonald's Aces DVD that teaches the basic effect and includes the cards. Not sure how good it is. You should be able to get it from most dealers. Marty |

McDonalds Aces because the last thing the spectator sees in the packet is an Ace each time
