Does anyone have any info about who this "Buka" is? Both his manipulation and his comedy are sublime. All I can find online is that he's Russian, possibly deceased, and possibly worked with a juggler named Buba. |

Okay, try this, go to the YouTube link, click on ir011971 name below the video window, and then click on send message on the right of next window or screen in YouTube. Ask all your inquiries of the person that posted the video.

You are not sending anything to a channel but the person that posted the video. Whoever ir011971 is, he should be a human being with a translator. Do you also know that Google Toolbar can translate those Asian symbols. |

Devious, thank you for your answer. I'm writing a guest post about comedy magic on a comedy blog, and wanted to include him.
I tried putting the Japanese in a translation engine, and it just said that the performer is a "mystery". I'd rather ask the magi on here anyway. |

Tsolo, I did not mean for you to use the translator.
I see you have to be signed on to YouTube to communicate with other members of YouTube. |

I have had Buba and Buka on my website for maybe a year. The Juggling routine was the inspiration for Mike Caveney's routine with the glass on a hoop. Both are awesome performers.

Pete Biro, thank you for that video. Holy cow. Devious, I'm not going to email him because I've already posted about him. It's a little off topic, but if you're interested, here's the article, my guest post about magic on a physical comedy blog:
