I finally pulled the trigger, got it, and I am VERY pleased by it. Warning: if you perform the effect as described it will be so obvious that your goldfish will be able to figure it out. But if you are familiar with effects such as Kioku, Animania, Dreamweaver, etc, you'll appreciate that this application of the method has actually a lot more flexibility. If you give your presentation some thought, jazz it well and add layers of misdirection, the revelation can be stronger and harder to retroengineer than in the effects above. You can create variations each time to make it look like like you are coming up with your requests to the spectator on the spot, and you do not have a specific method (which of course you do). You can even weave in some extra effects - I for example figured out a little "lie detector" test that you can add at times DURING the experiment, before the final revelation. It is a true extra effect, not a way of presenting the final revelation. PM for details.
