Hello all. I have a question about the convention as this will be my first year attending. What are the rules about kids? My daughter, who will be 6 when we go wants to be able to go into the convention with me. I know there is lots of things to do outside of the event but she loves puppets. She is actually helping me build her first puppet now. It's one of the kits from Mike Brose website.

What are the fees generally to get into the convention?

This from the FAQ on the convention website;
"The registration this year is $125 for the first family member and $95 for additional family members until May 15. After May 15, the registration goes to $145/$115."

There are always a lot if "kids" at the conVENTion. Age isn't a problem. It's interest that counts. Of course general courtesy rules regarding distraction, talking, etc. apply to everyone, but that isn't limited to children. No real age limit on anything, although you may want to shelter younger children from some of the more adult open mic performers.
