Thanks guys. There are a few "hidden" effects in there that some have seemed to miss on a single reading.
Good thoughts, Bob |

I just finished reading this & there is gold hidden in this ebook.
Ideas and methods that can grow into other effects. I don't know why I waited so long to get this!!! Thanks, Bob! (And Jheff!) Mark |

I thought the ESP effect was the best routine in the ebook. I personally did not care for the Atlas Book Test.

It is, but just to clarify, neither I nor Doctor Crow actually advocate killing or destroying our audiences. (Unless they annoy us. )

Many's the time I've read a thread here, over the past several years of someone saying: "I've just finished a show last night and I killed the audience!" Or, I did Chronologue last night, and it was the bomb! It just killed!" CSI has never been so busy! |

I've notice that too, Reuben. No longer do guys just say, "That effect went over well," or "I did pretty good last night." Instead, besides "killing" and "destroying" everything seems to get described as "earth shattering", "mind blowing" or "jaw dropping." I think Al Mann was responsible for the latter. (As well as the misconception that if the audience sat in "stunned silence" it was always a sign that you "killed.")

Killed / fried / makes your audience sound like bacon...
mmmmm bacon... I'm still very taken with the atlas presentation, got a nice little London A-Z laying around here, so I think that would be more "me"...and could even adapt the esp test a little to tie them together..and have the cards they select also refer to the grid references in the a-z...

I have an upcoming work that deals with Atlas tests (and a Battleship game!) that make use of grid coordinates secretly created by participants to determine the location of a "target."

'Midway' through May is the scheduled release of the Battleship movie touted as based in part on the Milton Bradley game--I hope you can have that effect ready in time to take advantage of the launch of the film.

Finally made up the NW and it's very good. I haven't come across any other method as stable as this! It's well worth anyone's effort making a few of these up.

Glad to hear it Sean. As far as I'm concerned its the most practical and stable NW I've ever used, and I've experimented with virtually all of them.

Wait, someone said 'bacon'. I distinctly heard the word 'bacon'.
Oh, and I love the book, the Atlas Test has been working like a charm and gives me an excuse to sing Lieder as the location comes to me. Badly. *** it, now I want Hassenpfeffer, magic rabbit and bacon. Dang you, Dr. Crow!
