My Review of RIGHT AND WRONG by Bob Solari $12.95 from http://www.bobsolarimagic.com
Effect- Performer spreads a deck face up between his hands asking a spectator to think of any card [no force]. For example, let’s assume the spectator calls out the three of hearts. The three of hearts is removed from the spread and displayed face up. The deck is now given one cut burying the three of hearts in the center of the deck. The performer explains, "The reason you thought of the three of hearts is because for some reason it feels 'right' to you. The other 51 cards for some reason felt 'wrong' to you." The performer turns the deck face down showing the word "wrong" boldly across its back. Suddenly, one card has the word "right" written across its back. This card is dealt onto the table face up, its the three of hearts!!! The remainder of the cards are shown to all have the word "wrong" written across their backs. Easy to do, no sleight of hand, quick reset, no force, no rough and smooth, learn in minutes. Bicycle® cards. If you love “Name That Card” you are going to love “Right And Wrong”. Just like Name That Card, Right And Wrong uses Bicycle cards and you can show all of the fronts and backs of the cards to your audience (my preference compared to the Phil Trick). Right AND Wrong is now a trick that I carry with me at all times. It makes a nice compliment to Name That Card (you can mix it up at different shows) and you can really have some fun playing with the Right and Wrong concept. People love to be right and this sets the spectator up for success. I would love to hear some creative ideas on how people are playing with the Right and Wrong concept so I can build on my story as I love this direct and powerful effect. I could go on and on but buy now as I highly recommend this. James |

This sounds really good James, do you let them keep the card as a souvenir ? I have just read the write up and the trick doesn't use any sticky stuff so I am completely fooled by this !

Does anyone know if this is similar to Oddity?
Thanks, Mike |

I thought I had it figured out until I saw the demo... Nice, direct and baffling. I might have to get this (trying not to buy any more for awhile.... OY!)

This is not similar to Oddity (different principle) and you cannot give the card out as a souvenir. It is indeed nice, direct and baffling and if you know some of Bob's other effects, it is sneaky yet straightforward. I love it as it plays well to any audience. My last order with Bob included both Oddity and Right and Wrong as I am a fan of his card effects. I actually played around with Oddity last night and will review this for all of you shortly (that also got great responses and I love the principle).

P.S. I will guarantee if you love "Name That Card" you will love "Right and Wrong". I knew when I placed my order I made the "Right" decision.

Hi. I'm really not fishing. However, I would like someone to comment on whether this method would be better than just using double sided tape. Thanks,

What do you pay for? Just for the trick or for the trick AND the cards?
Is it possible to make my own cards (in German language)? |

So it's the exact same method as Name That Card, just an alternate presentation, right?
Not sure I need both, and I can probably get more mileage out of NTC. Also very similar to Sankey's Yes or No. In fact identical, except for slightly different wording. |

That is nice..I have been using Female by Marlo for a long time and it really looks pretty close to the same but still a great routine..
I to am wondering what you get with the purchase...Just instructions to make it up or a deck already made up..ready to perform |

Here's the Bob Solari routine:
Jay Sankey posted a routine called "Yes + No", and includes both a performance and tutorial: Is his routine in any way similar to Bob Solari's "Right and Wrong", or does "Yes + No" use a totally different method and handling? |

Both use the same method and handling.

In Right & Wrong, the chosen card is not examinable at the end is it?

After the dirty work is done, the selected card is NOT examinable.
