Hey everybody!
I still consider myself new to magic, although I've been performing on and off for strangers/co-workers/friends for about six years now. I recently (less than two years ago) started looking at magic more seriously (More seriously?! That grammar sounds awful!) Anyway, I had recently posted an idea of mine over in the "We double dare you!" section of the Café found here if you want to read the background on it. The response there was overwhelming Basically it's a color change that I've come up with. Now if there's one thing I've learned in magic, it's that there's rarely ever an idea genuinely new and original. Knowing this, I am nearly certain that this technique has not only been discovered before, but more than likely can be performed even better with certain nuances and subtleties. So hopefully the great people at the Café can help point me in the right direction! Or better yet, make this idea even better if it's somehow a new idea! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWQIF4P0IT4 These were some of my first attempts, so it's not perfect. I think I even flash a little, so I made it unlisted in case it's someone else's idea. But I know it can look better if I practice. Any help/comments/critiques are welcome! |

It looks really nice, it reminds me of one that's it called the chemical change from jeremy bennet but I'm not sure.

I'd just like to add that the hand that covers in my version doesn't actually touch the deck, but just provides cover. And even the deck holding the hand can remain virtually still the entire time. |
