I just posted at Penny For Your Thoughts a longer postive review for Numberpedia : Everything You Ever Wanted to Know (And A Few Things You Didn’t) About Numbers by Herb Reich (2011 Skyhorse Publishing, NY, NY). I bought my copy for less than six dollars at Half Price Books last weekend.
Over 500 pages of short entries starting at zero and barely breaking one hundred which give historical, scientific, common and cultural associations or linkages to those numbers. For this forum, the book's contents would add a lot of 'personality' to the dry use of just digits. If you find promise in this work, or have read the other link at Penny, I would like to hear from you. Charlie Lakewood WA
Arthur C Clarke was mistaken--Magic has always been the most advanced form of technology.
