After watching theses two videos today I was highly impressed with the method of teaching and the tricks them self .
This is one of those practical pieces of magic that you will actually preform, not just one that will stay in your draw for ever. Some slight skill is needed but it wont take you long to get up to the standard needed for the trick. The detail of teaching is very high and probably the best video of its kind around. This will help you preform the perfect retention and for the price you cant go wrong!!! Transcendence is also A great trick teaching you a very modern and spectator friendly version coins across method. It is quite practical and certainly a good method. You can preform this anywhere because of the spectator participation allowing them to let the magic happen in their hands!! there is little skill involved and with a few days practise you will be able to preform it as good as Leon does. I would rate both these tricks 5/5 because of the great detailed explanation, and the videos don't cost much at all. These are both defiantly "bang for your buck" If you enjoy coin magic I recommend you buy these two videos. Leon does not only teach you a new trick, he teaches you how to improve on the sleights you already know to make them look flawless. ,Hope you enjoy Tim |

Very cool video. The handling is superb. I will go back to this many times. It's full of techniques taught well by demonstration.

I have not seen Paradigm Shift, but I would strongly argue that Transendence is not at all a practical utility. There are just too many variables to control, and too many ways something can go wrong for it to be worth the effort. If it is at all practical, it is most certainly not practical in all situations/venues. Even the best, top-shelf audience management worker will not be able to guarantee success with this set-up. Note that I do not own the video, but I was given one for a quick review. The menu system was non-existent, the form was sloppy and the teaching, in my opinion, was horrible.
I am not trying to negate your review of this but this is my opinion, based on my experience of working in many different venues and situations, and with many different types of audiences. Having said that, I would highly recommend Pop Coin over Transendence as a much better alternative for someone who wants an effect of this nature. |

Interesting to note here at this point in time...The initial post is a member with 19 posts, nothing wrong with that. The first response is a member of 11 posts. The first response of any real critique is a member of about 1,700 posts. Then another positive post short in nature from a member with 26 posts. Interesting but clearly "The more you see, the more you be" or something like that.
Anyway, I've seen Leon's work here before and it is good stuff and creative, plus he takes it out and about and gets the sort of reactions from specs we all hope to get in doing magic. What's not to like? His Paradigm Shift work is nice, a bit overdone I'd say but is clever. Not sure if he's heard of Mickey Silver (doubt if he hasn't) but that's where most of that unique use of the ROV comes from. Easy enough to check for yourself but I still like bits & pieces of his set and would think most folks would pick and choose as well in developing their own thing. Transendence is a nice effect and seems to play well in the video for people. I like it but the speed in which he goes through the misdirection of the quick routine makes me think there's some type of time limit he has to meet in making the magic happen. Guess timing is everything and all or nothing as to it. Still, it seems to work for him well enough but wonder what happens when the train leaves the station way too soon or maybe even not at all sometimes? All in all, I like his creativity and applaud his efforts.
