In the interest of involving ALL the senses possible for Bizarre Magick, I have been hunting for sounds and recordings to use. (One can only take so much Bartok!)
Just got some very nice music in here at Bizarremagick.com, called Realm of Shadows by some very talented folks called Midnight Syndicate. (Sound snips are to be had at Moonlight Graphics website) Now let me say I am not considered a Goth person, so I was not sure what to make of this music by the description, but boy howdy. It is going with me for the madness party I am doing soon! I also am going to be using my old haunted house tape for black spider web this year! And putting this one into the sound system! (Hmmm I wonder how I would look with my hair dyed black... shudders at the image)

I'll have to hear them, though I've used Delerium before, I like them for certain things.

I know it's late to reply to this post, but I'm new and currently addicted to exploring the wealth of information and people involved in this site. If you're interested in moody, creepy music for Halloween, I'll be compiling of my own stuff. I've done simple work for various haunted houses in California just for fun. Sound effects and ambient music has always been one of my favorite 'collectibles' I currently own almost 270 hours of Halloween sounds, stories and songs (including Midnight Syndicates music which is just incredible)! Come September, I'll be reposting about the CD that I'll be releasing. What I'm trying to do is make the Halloween CD that I always wanted to own. This may sound corny, but if you like ambient stuff for Halloween, go out right now and buy Martha Stewart's Halloween cd. It's just one long recording of cackling witches, an occasional bell tolling, owls, howling, etc. The CD is great! There's nothing really overpowering. It sounds like you're standing in a graveyard on Halloween night and just listening to the sounds you would be afraid of hearing. Take care, Tony Ley |
