I am considering adopting out two of my vent family members to new homes. I would prefer that they go to someone who loves the art of vent like the many fine folks on this forum! Before I advertise them elsewhere, I thought I'd let everyone know about Bobby and Buckley. Bobby is a Kem Poyner little boy figure and has all the standard movements. Buckley is a NEW Albert Alfaros "counrty bumkin" figure that has all the standard movements as well as two removable protruding front teeth. Both these guys are like new and Buckley has only been used about 5 minutes by me alone. IF anyone is interested in either Bobby or Buckley, just send me a PM and I'll let you know how much the adoption fees would be. Kem Poyner and Albert Alfaros are considered by many to be two of the best figure makers currently in the business. Thanks guys and gals! I can send pics via regular email of the figures to anyone interested.

Hey Captain Kirk,
Albert is a personal friend of ours, but friendship aside, that guy has more ability in his little finger than most of us have in our entire body. I completely agree with your comment on him. Steve http://www.thedummyshoppe.com/blog |

Dear friends: Bobby has already been adopted by Ben in Australia. He will be on his way to Ben on Monday morning. I still have Buckley available and would even consider letting Gramps (my other Alfaros' figure) got to a new home BUT really don't want to see both of them leave. I was hoping to keep Gramps since my Cletus is also a "country bumpkin" character and I really don't need two of them (Buckley is a "country bumpkin" kinda guy too. IF you might be interested let me know via PM.

Yep. Kem Poyner created Bobby who I'm sure Ben will love working with. He is SO COOL, CUTE, and just plain unique looking and I HATED to part with him but I just had too many figures to develop voices and characters for. I am still looking to adopt out my Alfaro's Buckley figure. You can see pictures of him on Albert's website but mine has different clothing: http://www.imaginariumgalleries.com/vent......ery.html Thanks guys and gals!!
BTW: Buckley is a top notch figure and is basically NEW and only has been used about 5 minutes total by me alone! He was not cheap when I bought him and won't be cheap to adopt now BUT I intend to give any fellow forum member what I consider to be a decent price/deal on him prior to listing him for sale elsewhere with a reserve. PM me if you're interested. |

I have some better pics of Buckley now that I can email someone who might be interested. He has side to side moving eyes, raising eyebrows, and of course mouth movement. He is dressed differently than the pic posted by Aussie and doesn't have that straw hat.
I am also going to let someone adopt Gramps. He is another Alfaros figure but he has additional movements. His upper lip sneer is awesome and he can wink each eye independently or both together. He alos has the rasing eyebrows and of course, once again, the moveable mouth. Since he was way more expensive when new, AND he has only been used by me alone for approximately 5 minutes total, his adoption fee will be a wee bit more than Buckley's. I still will make it reasonable if one of you fine folks want to adopt either of these great guys. Thanks!! |
