Grants lotion is pretty good and works quite well. I usually use no lotion at all but only keep my hands nice and warm and I work the cards in before every performance.

I guess you should try all the options, and see which works best for you. Everybody will prefer different things than you. I can't vouch for manipulation lotion because I have never used it, my hands aren't 'dry' enough to use such an item (in my opinion). I might experiment with it, though.

I've said it before and I'm saying it again.
Corn Husker's Lotion! It's very available, cheap, and it works! |

Lou Landcaster (an old freind and teacher)recomends corn huskers lotion. He never steered me wrong. When that is not on hand (No bad joke intended)I use
Collagyn elastin.(good stuff.)I have been lucky ,never had the sweaty hand syndrome.has anyone ever tried anti persperant?I imagine it would be to sticky. I think fanning powder is zinc sterate,I could be wrong. |

I use SortQwik, the pink stuff you get at office supply stores to moisten your finger tips for sorting papers, cash, etc.

SortQwick actually does work fairly well to add a little tackiness to the fingers for manipulation.

When I wash my hands with soap I can forget about classic palming a coin because my skin is so slippery
any suggestions on that? |

Try a golfers lotion called "sure grip" sold at golf stores.
It will work as the grant lotion and the old Norm Neilsen hand lotion. Any lotion you can work in and does not leave your hands greasy is good. Bill |
