Recieved mine in England this morning - that is much earlier than I expected.Certainly professionally produced and well worth the money spent.

I got mine the other day. I have just now had time to take a look at it. The effect is well produced and even comes with the needed items! I like the first issue so far!

You must be the first uk recipient.

I'm looking forward to receiving mine. As soon as I do I'll be back here to tell everyone what I think (without giving too much away obviously - there's no way I want to get banned from the most important thing that's happened to magic in decades).

Really!! That's a pretty strong statement to make seeing that the RS project hasn't even gotten its feet wet yet! That, and also considering the fact that you haven't even received the first trick yet.

Nowadays with the internet there are practically no secrets in magic. You can look up the workings to practically any trick or move (visualize kids at magic shows with smartphones in their hands). So it’s nice to know there are going to be some stuff that are going to be “Real Secrets” as well as tricks nobody else is doing. I hope it stays that way, but with the internet you never can tell. Just look at all the details that's been spilled on this thread already!

I had hesitated to join but with the big names behind it I knew I couldn’t lose. I got my packet on March 30th and I was pretty surprised it arrived so soon. Was I happy with it? Absolutely. Was the trick any good? That’s always pretty subjective; but for me it was practical: easy to do, easy to carry, takes no space, do it anywhere, and fooling.

And I suspect the best is yet to come.

People are being excluded because they are giving away secrets. Just like the good old days.

For the first time in 20 - 30 years the secret is once again sacred.

Only time will be the true test of that. Like I said, the RS project just started and the first release was just sent out. Some people will eventually quit, and then place various items that they purchased from RS up for sale. Those very same people (not all of course) will then feel free from the threat of being banned from RS and....?

Speaking of banned, it looks we will no longer be hearing from SIRbrad!

I agree with Mike Engberg. Now we can focus on what matters here, discussing Real Secrets without constant trolling.

"People are being excluded" because they gave away secrets? Really?

As far as I know, one person has been given a refund for posting too much information here on the board (and we only have speculation to tell us that's why he was dropped).

What if Real Secrets hadn't known BatsMagic's real name? He could've logged onto the Café and given a detailed description of the first effect, the gimmicks it came with -- even the method -- and they wouldn't have been able to ban him, because they'd have had no idea which member to ban.

Wouldn't be the first time. Smile

I guess my last post could be called trolling -- as long as your definition of trolling is "disagreeing with me." What part of what I said was incorrect?

Your definition of "bait" is pretty broad, too. Last time you used that word, the "bait" was my answering a question you asked me. This time, it's me asking what I wrote that you think is wrong.

Okay. Smile

...and back on topic.

Has anyone now road tested the trick in the real world?

It did seem strange that he had nothing to say over the past several days! He believed this thread only continued because he was around to breathe life into it...guess he was wrong.
