Peggy, Where does this "bow down to me stuff" come from? How can ANYONE take you seriously?
RS members, heard anything yet? Tom G, this post is fascinating because it's NOT just about a difference of opinion. But also marketing ideas, how magicians choose to invest their money, acceptance and rejection, e-commerce, privacy, emotional outbursts back and forth, various personalities (in one guy!), lies, truth. And more! Who woulda thunk RS could have given us such great entertainment---at no cost---before a single trick is shipped! The real let-down will be how BORING the RS secrets and products will be after all this!

Anyone remember when Protocols of the Elders of Magic came out, it was all 'hush hush' as well? Anyone who revealed the secret content to that book before it came out was vilified here on the Café. But the books then sold for triple the price. Definitely generated a lot of buzz, much like this is. I bought a copy of Max Maven's book back then, and I bought into Real Secrets now, so that type of marketing must work on me

Well, one mans facination is anothers boring. Atom you should go into mentalism knowing
the "real let-down will be how BORING the RS secrets and products will be" when no one knows a thing about them. With people like Michael Weber and Bob Neale promoting it, I would tend to respect their opinions a little more. Doubtful they would let their names be used for something they didn't believe in. Plus they know more about it than anyone on this forum. |

Well, I was stunned to get a call from the post office today. I didn't even know anyone was there on Sundays. Turns out they let you pick up packages on Sunday -- IF THEY CONTAIN LIVE ANIMALS!
Yep, that's right. Stay tuned for the first RS delivery, and make sure you have some place to store a couple of mice. (That's not giving too much away is it?) Haven't looked over the other material yet, so I can't review anything. But head's up for a few "squeekers." |
