Sasco made me beautiful coins in the early 1990s.
Sharon was terrific. I still use them all. She is no longer involved in Sasco and is missed. |

I have seen some of the coin magic you toilet
brush do. No coin would help. Leave Sasco and Sharon alone. |

Gee, sounds like someone is taking this very personally. Would be better to ask folks to let up rather than trolling and trying to start a flame war.
As for my own experiences with Sasco, some items were OK, most were less than good quality. And I am going back a long time, not recent purchases. 20 to 30 years. Jim |

I bet not one of you sasco bashers
can even palm a coin. Sharon was the best to deal With and prices were fair. Not her fault gimmick coins were in their Infancy. |

To tell you all the truth, I always looked at Tango and Johnson as the low end market...I thought Sasco was a trade name for a chain of discount stores!

However, if I were to judge the gimmick quality based on my two products, I would rate it about a 1.5 out of five....A bit harsh??? I don't know. |

Ahhh, so many people to dance on their assumed grave.
When I was a teenager I could afford SASCO products. Just that would stop me from bashing them so much.

Here's another picture of the Sasco junk I have. If you squint your eyes you can't see the poor quality. I guess I shouldn't be upset because Sharon is so nice ! Who cares how nice Sharon is this is not a popularity contest.
As far as Sasco being junk, I don't make the news, I just report it. Click here to view attached image.

The only Sasco product I really ever purchased was their locking $2.85 set. I was pleased with the quality of that product, but I'm surprised to read here that apparently the rest of their coins don't meet snuff. I wonder if the set I purchased was a fluke? I need to know, because I lost the first set, and was thinking about buying another. If their quality isn't consistant, that means the next set may not equal the quality of the first purchase. Way too expensive to take a chance.
I'd appreciate suggestions as to where I can go to get assurance of consistent quality in purchasing another set of locking coins.

I wish they made a Silver Peace dollar flipper coin because I'm very happy with the expanded Peace dollar shell I bought from them last year. I can't decide where I'm going to buy my Silver Peace dollar flipper yet. I have a half dollar Johnson flipper which is very nice. The problem is I've been working on Troy Hooser's Extraordinary using Silver Peace dollars, and now half dollar coins feel too small to me.

Are Sasco and Johnson about the only two out there?
