Trent Reznor supposedly owns a murder house. Can't remember which famous murder it was connected to.

OTOH, there's a house here that had belonged to a doctor who did illegal abortions back in the day. It's full of secret passages and such for his clandestine activities. It was on the market for a long time and they kept lowering the price. It was a curiousity, but nobody wanted it. It did finally sell (I think for around a million), and the owners have been very private since. They won't do interviews about the house. They won't let anyone on the property.
There are a lot of myths about the house and the doctor.
One story is that there used to be a pool there and the doctor had it filled in after driving his car into it during a raucous party. This story is completely untrue and there was never a swimming pool on the property.

If it was a good deal I'd buy it while the murder suicide was happening.

Regormortis converts my home into a haunted house most every year during the month of October, so this would be perfect for him!

Move in, write a book about bleeding walls, and boom... Bobs your uncle.
Worked for the amityville horror people.

Not a problem for me.

When I was in Wison Green Prison I had Fred West's old cell where he hung himself and I could not wait to get out of there.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Reznor lived in the Sharon Tate-Manson murder house before it was torn down.

The disclosure requirements are different from state to state. (In Massachusetts, for example, hauntings needn't be disclosed.) Also, in many cases, the reason for disclosure is not necessarily because the house may actually be haunted, but because of the effect that a reputation of being haunted would have on the value of the property.

In Stambovsky v. Ackley 169 A.D.2d 254 (NY App. Div. 1991)the court noted that regardless of whether the house was truly haunted or not, the fact that the house had been widely reported as being haunted greatly affected its value.

We think alike. That was my very first thought.
So yes...I would buy a murder house and live there.
