I just got a PDF of the article written by Tom Ewing
about my father in the March Issue.

Check it out when you get your copy or if you check
the magazine online.

Also, if anyone has a spare copy or don't plan on
keep their copy, I would love to have a physical
copy of the magazine for my archives.

Is your father DeYip Loo?

If so, how old is he?

Yes!
He just turned 86 on December 31st.

He's performing a lost bead trick with me
today at a lecture I am doing about him this
afternoon.

He's can't perform as he once did because he
had a massive hemmoraghic stroke almost 14 years
ago. But he can sure remember everything little
thing from long ago.

Did you enjoy the article?

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
He's a joy.

Just came home from doing a lecture on him
and not for magicians for a general audience.
And he performed an old bead trick with me.

I think it was the highlight for everyone,
besides the stories, photos and videos I shared.

He performed at the first IBM/SAM convention in Chicago
and several SAM conventions in the past.
But never belonged to the SAM or IBM for that matter
because he could never do the 3 tricks.

Maybe someday you'll meet him.

I received a physical copy of the M-U-M magazine
thanks to our very close friends Marshall Brodien.
Luckily he and dad are like brothers.

I am willing to accept extra copies for my archive.
Just feel free to let me know if you want to send
them to me, I will be glad you send along my address.
