Actually if memory serves me correctly there is sort of a similar illusion concept in one of E. Poinc's book of illusion ideas. It is more involved and uses a vampire transporting (and finally combining) with a clown. However this bit is quite funny.

The car one has always had me thinking. Would make an easy way to do a car vanish on stage if you can show the car first, switch it out and then vanish the cutout.

It has been done but not with a car. Smile

The cutout concept was discussed in another thread where the car video was posted, some time ago.

The car wouldn't work in a live environment because it isn't three dimensional, unless it was really quick. It would be fine for television or film, but would it be ethical?

Ethical? Smile

You haven't been watching some big time Magicians on TV these past few years, have you?

And it can work onstage, if you have enough angle control... Smile
