Just noticed that the Registration form and booklet are now available to be downloaded for the 2012 convention on the website. Just got mine filled out and ready to go.

Taking 2 of my grandchildren and should have a lot of fun again at the Convention. Fun, learning, Prayer, the Spirit, Fellowship. What more could one ask for?

Looking forward to it once more.

I will be there Sunday through Wednesday for sure. Hope to see everyone there! Bring your close up magic to do in the Caféteria, no permission required.

I'm planning on coming from the UK (as I did in 2008)

How easy is it to travel from Indianaopolis to Columbus, Ohio where the Max Convention is in the preceding week? Any-one else planning on doing both?

I'm planning on spending a fortnight in this area and am also looking for ideas on what to do over the connecting week-ends. Last time, I stayed near the airport in indie and visited the zoo. Any other ideas??

Hey everyone- be sure to send in your registration before June 21- you get an "early bird" discount for the 2012 FCM convention. See http://www.fcm.org then click on "Convention Information" for the registration forms. Plus, you only need $20 down to register as well- how many magic conventions do that? A great deal and great fellowship- I am planning to get there on Sunday night this year, first time I have ever done that, so won't have to miss the excellent Monday lectures planned. See you there!

Hi MagisBus

Since the convention is late in July we are giving until the 30th of June as printed on the registration form.
I guess Mike couldn't get the web-site changed.

See you all there

Thanks Chris- I mailed in my registration yesterday- appreciate the "early bird" discount too. Just as a total aside, Kif and I last year went over to take a look at the brand new auditorium that was built on the IWU campus not far from the auditorium we currently use- absolutely massive with an enormous stage. Just amazing. I have also used the IWU library during the convention- also first class with just about every resource one could imagine.

Just glancing at the FCM magic lecture lineup (revised 6/21/2012)- it is pretty neato. Features lectures by Steve Hammer, Ron London, Steve Varro, Aaron Gillam, Jay Rumple, David Mitchell, Sam Sandler, David Ginn, Jim Gathoff, Desi Payne, Barry Mitchell, Larry Wirtz, Joey Evans, Don Townsend, Dana Hill, Paul Ricksecker, Ice MacDonald (this may be a brand new addition to this year's line-up?, nice!), Gary Barker, and our KaZoo Chapter's own Jack Alexander from J and C Magic in Indiana. And this is just for the Gospel MAGIC related catagory (there are 7 other catagories). Wowsa! That's alotta bang for ones registation buck! By the way again, if you have a pet close up trick or routine to do, IWU says it is A-OK to "table hop" in the IWU Caféteria during the convention. Just ask permission first of any table you approach- and go ahead and do your thing!

Hey guys, I am SO looking forward to this week and meeting each of you...My daughter and I too are coming up - she told me the other day that she's an explorer and must take pictures at all times! Cracking me UP! I have never been but have been wanting to for quite sometime. Oh, and magicbus, I'll be lecturing Friday morning can't wait.

I think I maybe talked Dave Storms of Hastings, Michigan into attending his first FCM convention today- he really is a good magician- met him at Ring 211 in Grand Rapids. If you see Dave in Marion- be sure to say a big "Hello!"- we need to make all the Newbies feel Welcome! Sometimes it can be a little awkward to come to a convention for the first time and not know anyone- so I told Dave we FCMers were a really nice bunch of people!
