Tonight my sons house burnt down to the ground. But we are blessed that no one was there. My daughter inlaw and the children were at the gym when it happened. My son is in South Korea. He is in the army. We ask for your prayers for them so they can begin to start over. But again we were blessed.

Todd, I am so sorry to hear this devastating news, however I am also thankful that your daughter in law and your grandchildren are safe.

Still I know that starting over will be hard, especially with your son so far away. I will be praying for them.

Praying for your family. God is so good. I know its easy for me to say this but things can and will be replaced, loved ones cant. God will turn what was meant to be a bad thing into a blessing somehow.

Just a quick update everything is back to normal. My son is now at Fort Bragg with his family. They are renting a nice house off base. Thru family and friends so much stuff including money was donated to them. Sometimes when one door closes another one opens. And it sure did in this case. Thanks to all for your support.

Thanks for the update Todd. I'm glad everything is working out for you. My step-son and his wife were forced out of their duplex because of a fire in the adjoining unit next to them about 10 days ago. Prayers really helped. They found a new and better rental unit only 5 doors down within 3 days. God is good.
