Hi, I managed to get one of the superb David De-val Dupe locks (550 Brass). On the back of the printed sheet it came with was a hand written guide to open it as well as a small drawing of the lock. I ask if this was something he did? ive inc a pic to see if anyone recognises is as his writting as I'm not sure?

Not to my knowledge as a norm. But I have scribbled notes from him as comments.

Yes, that certainly looks like David's writing (and drawing).
I have pages and pages of stuff like that from when I was putting together his books. I expect he did that and then discovered there was other material on the back. He didn't usually send his own notes with his effects. I produced a few Dupes for David in the larger size padlock, they were special orders. Regards Riley |
