Hi folks
Well, it’s time for another selfish act of self-promotion. I am heading Stateside again in a couple of weeks’ time and will be presenting a couple of lectures while I am over. The first will be at Denny and Lee’s Magic Studio, 9004 Yellow Brick Road, Suite H, Rosedale, Maryland 21237 (map) on Monday, April 16th starting at 8pm. Admission to the lecture is $20. You can reserve your spot at the lecture by contacting Denny directly, either by e-mail on dennymagic@aol.com or phone on 410-686-3914. Then, on Wednesday, April 18th, I will be at South Street Magic, 519 South 4th Street, Philadelphia PA 19147 (map). This lecture starts at 7:30pm and admission is also $20. You can obtain your tickets online vi......site. Also, if you buy a ticket to my lecture on the Wednesday, you can also get a $10 reduction of a ticket to South Street Magic’s regular MagicThursday Show the following night, which I will also be taking part in. So if you are reading this you may be wondering why you should come to see a relatively unknown Scottish cardman lecture? Well, I like to think that I have some interesting ideas and effects that you might enjoy working on. Most of the lecture focuses on magic that can be done in walkaround situations where no table is readily available and includes:-
Other people seem to have enjoyed the lecture and were interested in what I have said during it. This is what others have said about my lecture… “Peter is knowledgeable, skilful, creative and, most importantly, respectful of those in whose footsteps he follows. I enjoyed it a lot.” Walt Lees, Abracadabra Magazine 3197, 5 May 2007 “Love the stuff, especially the vanishing deck(s)” Pit Hartling “…one of Scotland’s best kept secrets” Geoff Williams (he's lecturing at Denny and Lee's in Baltimore on May 16th - don't miss him!) “A good guy and a great cardman. Be prepared for a few surprises…” R. Paul Wilson (who is also lecturing at Denny and Lee’s in Baltimore on April 5th – don't miss him either!) If you are able to make it, I look forward to seeing you very soon. Best wishes Peter McLanachan :)

Hi folks
With a week to go before my Baltimore lecture, I thought I'd bump this topic for anyone that might have missed it. I hope some of you can make it along to either lecture. Best wishes Peter :)
