Update... I've finished writing it, now it goes to an editor and then to a layout artist. If plans don't miscarry I hope it's finalized last week April or first week May.
Now, I'm motivated to continue writing my other book, temporarily titled "Vent What Ifs" which is my take on vent scriptwriting. More on this later. Thanks! |

Yesterday I did a show at the World Book and Copyright Day event... and was offered to write my memoirs as a Talentadong Pinoy Hall of Famer.
I like the idea but I don't know how to write a book. Which is why they recommended a workshop on May 5 at Eastwood... it's for newbie writers. I am excited!

Wanlu, writing a book is quite easy. It is just a matter of disciplining yourself to sit down at least five days a week and write! But that is just the first draft. At that point ask a professional to look at what you have written and put the polish on it.
Even the most experienced of authors rely on their editors to make the final work as good as it can be. Think of this; if you wrote just 500 words a day, five days a week, at the end of ten months you will have a blockbuster of a book, in terms of length. It is not that daunting a task when you break it down.

Back when I attended college in Kentucky I met a ventriloquist who was a master of ad-libbing. He had several figures, all made by himself, and with his multiple figures, ad-libbing and voice impersonations, I think he could entertain for hours. Alas, I suspect he is no longer with us, as I can find no reference to him online.
