Not sure where to ask this. But was wondering if anyone knows good source for flash paper sheets. I have been getting them from local dealers and they seem to be very variedd in quality...Used to be a time the paper would really burn quickly, now it seems all the sheets I am getting burn much slower.
thanks, David |

There is slow burning and fast burning flash paper, or at least there use to be.
If you live in a high humidity area of a country, this will affect the paper as well. Always store in a paper envelope and then in a plastic bag. Then in a metal container with a tight fitting lid. Keep in a dry room at a reasonable temperature. Going from warm to an air conditioned room will effect the paper as well. Condensation from temperature changes will spoil or slow the paper. If you are not storing it in this manner, then flash results will vary according to the weather, and conditions of the place you are using this product. I believe there is only one supplier of flash paper, it use to come from only one source here in the USA. To order by mail, makes things more difficult, it has to be shipped in a wet pack, and the purchaser has to let it dry out for days. It can only be shipped by ground, with special handling. |
