Hi all,
Being a cups and balls fan myself, I thought I'd share this cup and ball video using a coffee cup. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcSStSTWw.......be&hd=1 Do check it out, would love to hear your thoughts and comments! =) |

LOVED it! What a clever ending to the routine. That was great. Slydini would be impressed

Loved it, too!! Great routine. Lots of magic. It all makes sense and ties together nicely. It's exactly how I would present it (if I were charming). I study this stuff a lot, and really appreciate the thought you've put into this!
Now, this could just be me but, I felt a bit of awkward tension. A small part of me felt like I needed to watch out for the woman and her money. You went on to the next trick so fast without resolution, you could have conceivably been trying to distract her and not return her cash. I know some tension makes it more memorable, but for me it was a tiny bit uncomfortable. Maybe before going on to the cup trick, you could reassure her by promising to "Make the $40 return.... oh right $50, by the end of the performance." or something to lesson the tension. Very very good! -Josh

Thank you Andrew! I am still working on the Slydini moves, not quite there on the timing.
Josh: Thanks for your comments, in fact, I had this uneasy feeling when I first watched the video. I think you were spot on on the awkward tension. This is something I would not have picked up on my own. Thank you so much for these comments! |

Fabulous, simply fabulous. It all made sense to me. Thought the diminishing value of the 50 was clearly done in a sort-of teasing manner. I don't think anyone thought a rip-off would ever occur.
Great idea blending the two effects. I really liked the visuals of putting the capsule into the egg and into the fruit. Kent Gunn |

Fantastic! Somebody recently said in another thread that he might be moving to Singapore, and he wanted to know if there was an active magic scene there. If this is any indication, it's very strong!

Very nicely done! I was wondering how various things were going to happen. The course of events in this presentation is very well thought out and very well executed.

Beautiful job, Alexander! One of the better routines I have seen recently. I especially liked the way the spectators were kept guessing, and the surprises kept coming. That's what it's all about. (Gives me a lot to think about).
