Has anyone else played with these?

I paid retail ($20) at my local store out of curiosity and a need (want) to play with one "NOW", but you can find them online (ebay among others) for $6-$7 with free shipping:

The "Tool Band-It"
https://www.asseenontv.com/tool-band-it-......p=296691

What you get:

A large armband with two velcro straps with *fifteen* 1/2" round neo-thingies neatly embedded.
They're in an alternating pattern of polarity. I cut one of the mag***s out of the strap with an Xacto knife to see just what was in there, and as seen in the images (link below), each one is in a slightly larger round metal tray. I forget exactly which way the tray was oriented, but I think it was towards the inside of the band, which makes sense as the attraction seems somewhat less strong on that side.

With careful application of scissors and some good tape to close up the side that won't have stitching, I think you could get 5 strips of 3, or 3 strips of 5 that are pretty much ready to go to be attached to your belt, coat, etc. Or extend the straps and make the whole thing one giant holdout you wear on your waist? Smile

Lots of possibilities for not a lot of $$$.

Nice. may need to soften it up a bit for noise proofing.

I can use that for working around the house. :o)

let us know when you have played around with it.
