According to ABC news who ran a story about this, it was Bob Garner. At least it was Bob Garner in the video clip that ABC used to report the story. I had to slow it down and pause it to see that it was Bob.

I don't know if this is the same thing but I was dining with some lawyers in Miami last week who told me a similar story about a 'memtalist' being hired IN Florida (although it might have been to go to Las Vegas for that particular thing?)at a cost of $150,000 (they claimed).

Thanks for the link Duane.
The question is, does something like this hurt Mr. Garner's career or will the recognition bring him work he may not have got otherwise? If it were any of us, how would we spin it? Mr. Garner is of course at no fault and did nothing wrong, but in his shoes, would you play this up or just not address it at all? |
