Just got the instant download from Paper Crane Magic (Gimmicks in the post) and watched it a few times… I love it!
Brief Review: All of the cards and gimmicks required are supplied so you can get straight into it. A very simple but very effective and very visual 3 Card Monte routine with a real kicker of an ending! Shaun runs thru the gimmicks provided and how they are used. He then runs through the 3 moves required to perform the routine which are a simple DL (from a pack of 3 cards) a Flustration count and a simple move to produce the money between the 2 cards for the ending – that’s it. Shaun also explains in detail how each of these are executed and performed if required to be learnt. Shaun also explains that other wallets can be used if for some reason you don’t wish to use the paper wallet provided (I like it and will use it) The routine and phasing is then clearly explained. The only thing you will need to add is your patter which as with all Monte routines is very important. The phasing is simple and not at all difficult when compared to some other popular Monte routines. A table is required to perform the routine which makes the effect perfect for bars and restaurants (for which Shaun designed it) The reset is not instant but it is very quick and can easily be done whilst moving from table to table. There is a bonus routine included called ‘Deposit’ which makes great use of one of the gimmicks provided and enables you to cut to any spectators chosen card immediately – 100% guaranteed (and win some money should you so choose!). Overall: a relatively simple routine to perform, highly visual with a great ending that nobody is going to be expecting! 2/3 basic moves required that can be easily learnt with a little practice if not already known. A great effect for strolling and the added advantage that it packs small but performs big! Overall 9/10 from me. Highly recommended if you want to add an easy but very visual and entertaining 3 Card Monte routine into your set or repertoire. All you need to add is your own patter.

I've been a big fan and worker of "The Money Card" since I first got it in May this year. But just last night the wallet finally broke. Now I have other wallets I could use, but my question is: does anyone know how to make (or where I might learn to make) a "Money Card" wallet? I love the way this one works. I tried reverse engineering it, but I'm afraid the secret was lost when it originally broke.
Much respect and peace. Please PM with any answers, don't wish to disclose anything.

Just what I need! Another monte effect!
I have them out the proverbial yin yang. But, I am a sucker for one more, and I bought this mostly for that cool newspaper wallet! I simply had to get my mitts on it! Penguin sent me the DVD, but the cards and wallet were back ordered! Arrrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhh! Well, long story short, weeks later, and I finally have my hot little hands on that bad boy! I really do love that wallet! It was worth the wait! It has such a unique appeal to it. Very cool. I plan on ordering money card again in quantity just so I can have a bunch of these wallets available for switching of various packet effects. I suppose I could construct the wallets myself, but that material (is it Tyvek?) is something I don't know where to get my hands on. And especially with the newspaper printed on it. I'm using the wallet for other effects. I do a classic monte, and I tell them from the beginning to pay close attention as there will be a test. Then I go through the routine and when it is over I switch out the cards as I ask them if they payed attention and what is the name of the routine? When they reply "The classic monte." I say no. Actually it's the DEL Monte. Then turn the cards over to reveal the former red backs are now Del Monte labels. (Easily accomished by gluing the backs of Del Monte canned green beans to the back of three cards. )
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.
