I can only pick one? That isn't possible just like only being allowed to eat one Lay's potatoe chip - I just can't do it.
I have always enjoyed everyone's post whether I agree with them or not. |

I'd add Woland for the breadth and depth of his knowledge, and his very cordial attitude even when in vehement disagreement.

This isn't a fair topic- someone's always going to feel left out.
I like all you guys- you keep things interesting around here!

I agree with EsnRedShirt. I was making a list and suddenly realized that I would probably forget someone. I like all of you or I wouldn't hang out here. But I would like to point out to Lobo that just because I'm always right doesn't mean I'm opinionated. (But thanks for the nice words - they're exactly how I'd describe you!)

Thanks so much Critter and Mr Clarke(Zombie).
You are both very thoughtful and among My Fave peeps as well. My list to follow shortly as I'm on the road. |

Devious, did you use a different name years ago?

@Magic Santa,
Yes, I used to be a staff member here under a different nom de plume. I've been a member since 2001, but lost the use of my old email addy. My middle name is Rey so folks used to call me ReyRey and I adopted a little logo which you can see in my avatar on the lower right. An R squared surrounded by a circle. I took about 6 years away from all message boards when I decided to learn and grow on my own in the craft away from any influences with the exception of my mentors. Did we used to converse? I only started posting in here late last year after the six year hiatus. _____________________________________________________________________--- Here is my list; *Harry Murphy is my absolute favourite Brother here for his vast and wise knowledge not only in the effects, but the historical references tied to creating the effects. I've also known him longer than anyone else in here. He has served as a very positive role model. He walks softly but carries a big stick. The artist formerly known as Mumblepeas Rocks! *Scott Guinn, for being the very first person to trust in my judgement when he was the chief of staff and chose me as one of the staff members. *Joaquin Ayala for his educated and detailed opinions on all things magic. He always has my back. *Critter, for introducing me to John Testa and his humour when I'm feelin' a bit discouraged. *Ray Pierce for his extreme knowledge on all things illusion and television productions. *Ray Noble for his friendship over the years. He was an illusionist then, A mentalist now. *Kevin Ridgeway "Living Illusions" for his Brotherly support throughout the years. *Dean Hankey for his marketing genius and for tracking me down on the phone years ago to find out if I was ok. *Bob Cassidy for allowing me to poke fun at mentalism and also for his wealth of knowledge in worldly matters. *Danny Doyle for his ever vigilance against fly by night posters who are trying to sell pipe dreams. *Zombie Magic Mr. Clarke, He is also the most positive member in the Café. *Ekuth from Phoenix for always having my back. *Randi Rain for her weekly "Magic In Bed" series and her great engineering marvels. *Jonathon Townsend for superior knowledge of electrical theory and his mathematical skills. *Chance Wolf for his great friendship and free advice on crafting items. *Peter Loughran for being one of the first to endorse me years ago. *Magic Santa for his very candid and quirky tales about life. *Penn Jillette for his excellent lurking abilities. Teller would be proud. *Mind Pro, for his discretion and superior knowledge and Brotherly advice. Thanks boss! I'm sure that I missed some dear friends, so please forgive. Who do I miss the most? Pete Marucci, Annabelle, and Opie Houston |

I must say that being a relative newbie to NVMS, I cant say that I have a favourite poster. You are all very cherished friends, even if some of you may not consider me a friend of yours, you most certainly are a friend of mine
(and you know who you are, you rotten scoundrels ) lol Kam

And if I write, many a pen will break. .....and when I consider my own self, lo, I find it coarser than clay! |

Good memory MagicSanta! I do now remember the name ReyRey as I joined in 2003 but had lurked for a year prior to that. I was a Café staff member for a year or two starting in 2003 or 04? My memory isn't as good as MagicSanta's. He has a special place in my heart as I've chatted with him before Café days - think that was back in 2000? pffff he didn't list me on his "special" list so I'm not leaving the Rum/Egg Nog and cookies for him this year!
I enjoy the diverse membership here and miss some of the faces that no longer visit the Café as well. |

Wow, 2003... and I thought I'd been here a while.
I think the people who aren't making lists are a bunch of wussies

I didn't include Crystal cuz she is a real person, I think everyone else is a duo doing all other posts in order to control magic.
