I have seen a few debates about these two products pop up from time to time on various forums. I finally decided to do a head to head review that considers the practicality, the quality, and the price of the gimmicks.

Hi,
Nice review. However, regarding Coinvexed you say 'First, you will need at least one coin that will stick with to a magnet' I have Coinvexed and have performed with it many times and I simply cannot see why you need a magnetic coin? It will bend any coin that fits into the gimmick magnetic or not. I can't really see what a magnetic coin has got to do with performing the effect in any way whatsoever. Am I missing something here? Thanks Ray

It just needs to .... well a US quarter won't work lets put it that way. Many English coins and Euro coins will, however. Don't want to get into to much more so I'll PM you. |

Thanks for this! I have been looking into these for a while, and while I can not afford either right now, this information is appreciated!

I've been having success with Superman Bender. Is QB2 and CV really that much better?

I like the ability to be short sleeved and you more open with everything. IMO the misdirection is stronger too. But if you're having great success with the Superman, I wouldn't see a reason to upgrade unless you really want to simplify everything

You know, for Coinvexed 2, if you painted the other half of the gimmick matte black, you wouldn't need to use the extra coins for the magnet piece.
