It is good under certain circumstances, but you need an awful lot of books. ;o)
You can do it absolutely impromptu, though. Sven ![]()

Yes I have read some reviews on it and it sounds what I want.
Would just like some more reviews or advice before I buy it. |

I forgot to mention it, but I have it, and use it from time to time.

It's my favorite book test. Easy, reliable, and impromptu (as long as you have the you-know-what on you).
Sven, I don't understand your comment about needing an awful lot of books. Care to elaborate? Quinn

I use the Val Andrews Book Test which needs a bit of work. Would you say Silver Bullet is better and more versatile?

That is right Poire.
I was going to pm quinn about that, not to reveal it here. You can do a great effect with money or just paper too. Then you wont have to get new books all the time. Sven

The Lite version is so very much more practical than the original. It's very good and very worth it.
Good to have in the arsenal. Regards. Steve Roth |

OK Quinn,
I'll try to "undo" it ![]() Actually, what I mentioned about needing many books, isn't a big problem. One of the Silver Bullets strenghts, is that you can pick up a book anywhere...in somebody's home, in a bookshop, library or whatever, and do the test. Thos books you'll never have to replace anyway. I have the orignal bullet, and find it a little big & heavy. I take it that the lite is better and more practical? Sven

If your willing to try ungaffed stuff, give the hoy book test a try.
Or perhaps Val Andrews "unfaked book test". |

I'll try to "undo" it Very true, one of the things I like about it. And incidentally, the ads and instructions say it can be done with "any paperback book." In reality it can be adapted to work with hardbacks as well with about thirty seconds of thought and experimentation. I e-mailed Lee about this and he said yes, he had been using it with both types for years, but he didn't include the hardback handling because he didn't think people would want to go to the trouble of learning two different handlings. So for whatever that's worth. Quinn

Silver bullet has arrived.
![]() Has anyone tried using it with playing cards? I think how I can see how it would work with a hardback book just a bit more work involved. |
