Okay...it was April 25th, 1986. I was at work and, to make a longer story a lot shorter, decided to take out a nickel and see if it would land heads or tails.
As I flipped the nickel I said something like "heads or tails...or how about landing on it's edge.." It hit the floor bounced once, landed flat, and stood up on it's edge and stayed that way!!!!! TRUE story. Wrote down the date and time (1:40pm) on an envelope and put the nickel in it and kept it since. I'm thinking my Gardian Angel was having some fun with me. |

What a good memory I have.
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=32 Though, I notice the details of your story have changed (# of flips and time of day) since last year. Unless you are saying it happened twice in one day! :)

Well I'm not surprised you predicted it, you do have a time machine after all.

I didn't think I was going to be the only one to notice that.

In another synchronicity- I just this minute got the new ThinkGeek ad in my email and River's TARDIS journal is the featured product.

Seems that this year he might have written it fast as it had fewer details or maybe he misquoted the time as it was 26 years ago. The fact that he posted it on the exact day a year later... I think his details might be mixed up but that it did actually happen. Details fade over time... like when your child is born you think you are going to remember the time and how much they weigh forever. By the time they are 12 you are lucky to remember the day they were born let alone minute details. The only thing that matters is that it did happen.

I thought the documentary clip with Hugh Laurie was nice as well. I think I'm one of the few Americans who knows him better from Jeeves and Wooster than House.

I started watching old Jeeves and Wooster videos after falling in love with him on House. It's really funny but something is taken away with the British accent... and of course actually being nice...

I want the 11th Doctor's bowtie. I love bowties and have seven of them so far, but not that one.
I'll let you in on a secret- as much as I love thinkgeek, these guys have the most comprehensive Doctor Who category I've seen: http://www.entertainmentearth.com/hitlis......ctor+Who
