Flash, Color Changing Flash Drives by Chad Long is great. What you get is a way to do color changing knives with an updated and topical look. The routine is well rounded and to the point and the finale fooled me. You get two faux flash drives that match the standard two knife set and the 'special drive' for the 'very cool ending.'

In fact, these drives are the easiest to manipulate in the manner needed of anything I've ever used and I've used a LOT of things demanding the basic move. They almost work themselves.

I'm very pleased with the quality and service. No DVD here. The directions are well written and assume you know the basics. There is a brief mention of the 'moves', but you really shouldn't get this unless you are already familiar with knife/paddle work.

I recently got this and am really enjoying it . With the basic CCK moves you can come up with an interesting routine. And it is TSA feindly.

I picked this up and I've never done a knife routine. Seems the drives will do all the work. Very topical and fun.

Great opener with a good kicker. I get great reactions with this. I do a lot of corp. and trade show work, USB sticks are a common object and patter can be worked into context of tech shows. Older children and teens also relate. This trick takes people down. Props are well made made and durable.

You can do this out of the box. The drives work like a dream. You could perform the last phase first and leave it at that. And you can also do a completly jazz session with them and end with the long drive.

Flash is very fun. Just don't FLASH in Central park you may get put in the pokey.

I honestly feel this is the best improvement to a "Classic of Magic" that I have seen come out in the last five years.

Great routine. I'm especially glad he now sells a matching all red drive. Fellow Café memeber Michael Dustman discovered that these are attracted to a magnet which makes starting and ending with two examinable drives incredibly easy if you buy the red drive and know how to use any of the magnet ditching/stealing methods.

I have been wondering for two years why this thing wasn't a HUGE HIT!, I hope the best for Chad and I'm glad this effect finally got picked up by a major distributor.

Great effect. I've been doing the color changing knives for years. These are really much easier to use (almost impossible to flash). I go to schools and hospitals and the knives are a no-no. Now I can just bring my flash drives.

I LOVE this trick!

I've been working this daily for half a year, and love the reactions I get. My first set I ordered from one of the large online shops. The all-red drive is only available directly through Chad Long, so I decided to order one from him as well as a second Flash set (as back-up). I received my package in a timely fashion and Mr. Long communicated the status of order a long the way. It was a great surprise to find that Mr. Long included some extra goodies with my order. I don't know if this is his standard practice or just a special holiday gift, but even without the extra goodies I felt taken care of. Next time I order one of his creations, I'll be ordering directly from him.

Great trick. Be aware that the drives get dirty easily due to the great texture. Black from my card wallet rubbed off on one of the drives and I could not get it off. I switched wallets after that, so this may be more of a wallet problem. I need to order another set or find a better way to clean them.

I love this as well. Taller8 gave me a great line for the stretch finale, "..and this is where I store my porn files". THat alone makes it worth performing.

This is a great trick, a real workers

I recently acquired this trick. Very innovative and practical! My only gripe is that I feel the trick should end with a long red flash drive - not black. Red is brighter and flashier for greater impact, and more importantly, allows the magician to end clean with everything being examinable. As it stands now, the magician is left with the gimmick flash in their hand, and swapping it out for the double sided short black flash would make no sense since you've already supposedly stretched this drive during the finale. Ending with a long red flash drive would have kept the production cost for this trick exactly the same.

Granted, one can now buy the double sided short red drive as a separate investment from the creators site, but ideally, it should come as an all inclusive routine in my opinion for maximum value. Now I'm clearly being very nitpicky here since it's hard to otherwise find fault with an effect whose beauty is in its simplicity. Realistically, there is very little reason to even hand out anything once the finale has occurred. In fact, few spectators will even care since it's like asking for the menu after enjoying the meal. And this meal is very tasty and entertaining to say the least! I intend to use this trick often since I have many knife moves that I can now incorporate into this updated trendy effect.
