I ordered the all red flash drive from Chad Long's site about a month ago. After 3 weeks had passed and it didn't arrive, I e-mailed Chad Long asking him what was going on. He didn't get back to me, so I e-mailed again. A few days later, I got an e-mail saying that my money was refunded. I e-mailed Chad Long asking what was up and whether or not I could still purchase the solid red flash drive or if it was just out of stock, or if I would be able to buy one at some point in the future. He did not reply.

Anyone know what's up with him? Is he still selling the solid red flash drive? Is there anywhere else I can get the red flash drive?

I think the effect should have come with a solid red drive instead of a solid black drive because when you produce the long black drive, it would be nice to let the spectator examine both drives at that point.

If anyone wants to sell me their red drive, I would love to buy one.

Don't need to examine. They know it's a trick anyway.

Attend Chad's lecture, buy the full package, he includes the red drive and other accessories.

There is a lot of good material on the DVD's! I love the one where he eats a card then the entire deck. He has a chewed and restored spaghetti noodle too.

There is a dart gun card stab. Lots of good stuff.

if he's coming to toronto any time soon, I'll definitely attend. though it would be a lot easier if I could just order one off his site.

I'm not gonna worry about the red drive, the heat is so much on the big black drive!

Been using this a lot lately and never had a question about the red one. I only hand out the final drive and pocket the rest.

I just love this effect! I think what really makes this effect are the actual flash drives. They were designed superbly! The rubber feel makes them easy to manipulate. Because of the design of the flash drives, there are several moves he teaches that probably would not work with regular flash drives.

I have to agree. A perfect opener, but I've found that as a middle effect in a set of 3 it really keeps the energy going. Table-hopping this one can be finished up quickly if the food comes out, and has enough punch just in case you have to close with it.

For those that have this- my presentation is around how important my phone is to me. Actually, I have 2. A BLACKberry and an APPLE (iPhone). Not only do I have 2 phones, but I also keep backups of them with me at all times. It plays great!

I'd have to see that to understand, Jamie. Color changing flash drives, a Blackberry, and an iPhone together in the same routine? My head spins at the very thought!

It seems that there are much smaller or thinner flash drives on the market now, as this trick is a few years old. Is anyone who performs this bothered by the thickness of the Flash flash drives?

Nope. They look fine to me. Maybe the newer drives are thinner but there are still plenty of thicker drives around. (And I have more than a few of them to prove it!)

Personally, I've seen all sorts of USB drives and don't think these look bad in the sleightest.
