How does one go about starting working college shows? Who do you contact, etc.

The college market is a very difficult market to get into. There are several showcases for performers and that is where most of the college buyers attend to know who/what they are booking and where they also start to book the acts too.

You will want to visit the NACA web site (National Association of Campus Activities and the APCA web site http://www.apca.com
These are good starters, from there you may want to take a look at agents in the market and speak to a few of them, but be careful there are some very unethical agents amongst the good as with any area of our work.
