In this morning's comics a kid touts himself as "Psychic magician etraordinaire" -- and then proceeds to offer "for my first trick, I will demonstrate my ability to make objects disappear."

So, that settles the argument of whether psychics are magicians and whether they do magic tricks ..

at least, with all that publicity a budding star might wish to jump on this bandwagon and rename themselves or publically admit what they do.

but ...

this same page has a cartoon in which a fortune teller is gazing into a crystal ball saying, "I see a charlatan in your future, Wait -- that's just my reflection."

at last we know what the public thinks ;-)

perhaps it is best to claim nothing and just do astonishing things.
