A lot of people from Kentucky have Cherokee in their ancestry (including myself, via my father's family tree), but that doesn't make you 'recognized' by the Nation. Ancestry means line of descent. If you can prove your line of descent you can be eligible for membership in the tribe. You don't have to have that much Cherokee blood. Part of the problem is there are only three Federally recognized Cherokee tribes, and about 300 tribes that call themselves Cherokee that aren't recognized as Cherokee by the Federal Gov't, or the other Cherokee tribes. Cherokee also seems to be one of the more popular default tribes of choice for people who claim to be of native descent but can't prove it. |

I just got through watching Berry Nelson playing James Bond. This has to be an improvment in casting.

It was very bizarre having James Bond be an American gambler approached by "British Intelligence" agent Felix Leiter!

Definately one of the four worst versions of Casino Royale.

Four? I know the 50's version with Barry Nelson, the 60's version with David Niven and the latest with Daniel Craig (of which one reviewer said they should have called "Bourne, James Bourne." But what's the 4th?

I seem to be mistaken. I'd heard that someone, possibly Gregory Ratoff, had made a film of Casino Royale without Reserve Commander Bond at all.
