There is a nice Card Castle table advertised in the June issue of Genii, pg. 92, from Signature Pieces.

I now have the information to assemble my dream of a Self-Rising Card Castle, thanks to the very smart and helpful members of the Café. It will be several weeks until all the parts arrive, but I will keep everyone updated on this group project. |

Bill,
One thing I hadn't mentioned is that you may want to use a terminal strip to connect the wires and the diode. That way you can simply run twisted pairs of wire to the switches and the battery. It will make the assembly cleaner and easier to build. Also I would use stranded, probably 20 gauge, twisted pair wire. If you can't find twisted pair you can twist the wire yourself. Another option would be 20 gauge speaker wire (zip cord).

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant. Visualize Whirled Peas! |

AGMagic,
Thanks, I will consider that when all the parts arrive. Then I will know number of connctions, length of wire and limits of parts. I am taking your advice and looking for screw connection on the parts. |
