FLASH!!! Just saw that Target (and possibly others..) have the ipad mini(what I use..) on sale for $199.with free shipping. This could be your chance to upgrade to the ipad/showcues setup at a bargain price!

Any updates on the new remote.
Also, for those who use the Pebble watch to control Show Cues, what are the limitations. Can you control everything with the watch such as the volume up and down? Thanks for the help. |

We can't say much about the remote except the target is early 2015 and so worth the wait. Ask Shawn at conjuringcabinet.com about the Pebble. Thanks! Carl

Don't hold your breath. Love the app. Use it all the time. Tired of the never ending promises. It's hard to endorse a product that never seems complete. Quite honestly without a remote this app is just another glorified audio player of which there are many cheaper versions. Still hopeful, but........

I wish I could tell you more but the remote will be worth the wait. In its early stages its range already blows away anything available by a mile. They are working on making it even better, it will be THE remote in a class by itself!
I understand everyone wants something amazing and they want it now but it doesn't work like that. These things take time to perfect so please be patient. Thanks! In the meantime, John, myself and many others use Show Cues every show without a problem. |

Carl I understand the remote being pushed back, but could you answer a few more questions to keep us that are waiting for the new remote interested.
I am not affiliated with Deceptively Simple and I am not endorsing their remote, I do not own one. However I saw it used recently by one of the top working pros in the country, in the type of venue I work, and it was flawless. (After talking to him he gave it his highest recommendation, he said it was simply plug and play and he did not have to worry). What I am asking is what advantages will yours have? I know you said the range will blow every other away, but what else. Will the iPhone or iPad have a cradle and have to run on A/C like the other? Will it be a smaller remote than theirs, and will it have the hands free feature (magnetic or other)? I know at this point you have a direction your remote is going, so what I am asking is what are the advantages to keep us hanging in there? (Also not jumping the gun and spending 600.00 plus dollars on the DS remote system if yours is going to be a drastic improvement!!!!) At this point I am frustrated waiting. I need a dependable remote system I can use with Apple products, simple integration. (I've been down the old MP3 transfer, Wireless Wizardry Systems, carry around a netbook.....and I know Craig still makes them and has taken over the product, and they are great but for me I am looking for compact, simple integration ). Thank you in advance for answering any questions you feel you can. |

Thanks for asking about the new remote. Due to the NDA I cannot say much more. There will be a magnetic hands free feature and it will have the longest range. That's really all for now.

Carl, are you going to develop an app for the apple watch to utilize it as a remote?

Wouldn't make much sense... as the working distance is commended by a Bluetooth connection which is too short. Jan

Currently the Pebble watch already works with Show Cues as a remote. I am sure the same will be true of the iWatch. Although as mentioned the bluetooth range is limited unless you are in a small room.

Bought Show Cues 2 years ago and granted its affordable and a simple program to use.
I have had nothing but trouble with trying to make this work for 2 YEARS. Works great on the laptop but that's really it. Until they get a working remote sadly the program is worthless without it. |
