This is to vent my dissatisfaction with pgproductions and many of the ebay dealers. This is the second time I ordered a product on an ebay magic shop and it was totally not as pictured or as discribed in the text.

All they suggest is to return the product. So an innocent purchaser has to incur more expense to return a product to a crooked person to lazy to actually know what he is selling.

All they offer is an excuse is that it is not my fault, the manufacturer supplied that information to me. So I guess they feel no responsibility to see if any of information is true at all.

I must admit I am very upset with this permissive behavior on ebay. The only alternative is to not buy any magic products from ebay sites, except of course the China listins.

So if you don't mind losing money with every purchase, because of returns, or keeping something you did not order then go to an honest dealer that actually knows what he is selling.

I cannot believe I get better representation of magic products from the China Magic stores then the American ones.

But isn't that the risk you run with Ebay auctions?

Not to say that bric-motor stores do not run foul of the described displeasure.

You will however be able to claim back the desired refund from Paypal for items different than described, no? that's what I love about paypal-Ebay

My point is, that is not just Ebay, all the magic dealers are just copying each other's advertisements. How can you find a particular product, when they don't show the real product they are sending out in the mail?

At least if you visit a magic shop, you can see the prop they hand you.

The attitude that customers have nothing better to do then burn up gas, pay for return postage, they had no intention of spending, and to take the time out of their lives repackage and go to the post office. Then they have the nerve to change the person a 30% restocking fee, when it was all their lack of good business in the 1st place that started the whole adventure.

Unbelievable!!

Sad but it is true. It has become commercial thing that people start to care more on the money side rather the passion for the art.

That's why I almost always wait for real user reviews. You simply cannot believe the promo's anymore. They are verging on fraud sometimes! And as for the famous 'pre-orders' - don't get me going! There is a complete lack of trust these days between the buyer and the seller and its down to greed. They just want to make a quick buck then try and sell you the next 'big thing'.

Just out of curiosity what exactly was not as described by pgproductions? I shop there sometimes (the flowers I'm holding in my avatar are from pg) and I have yet to have a problem so I'd like to know what it was so I can avoid it.

I agree 100% Bill..and that is just the tip on the iceberg of my dissatisfaction with ebay in general.
