Christmas Show: Yule Tide. I do the Newspaper cone trick with a pitcher of water.
Card to mouth: "I'm Steven Youell. Ever eat a deck of cards?" (Only old guys who remember the GrapeNuts commercial decades ago will get that.) You guys think I haven't thought about this stuff?!?!? LOL SEY |

My ex-wife was obsessed with Euell Gibbons. She used to walk around the house saying "Many parts of a pine tree are edible," and then laughing to herself about it.

I have met Dan a few times and he was kind enough to show me all of the effects on this dvd the last time I was working at Illusions magic bar, where dan himself has performed many of the effects too, to real people to great reactions, this is chock full of working routines and effects.

This is a REALLY good DVD. I've been using a few effects at the bars here and I get nothing but good reactions with them. I think I'm going to learn all of them.

Sorry guys, I am guilty of creating the name!
I just got the DVD - it is already looking great. Visual magic that I have also wanted to do, and for once, I actually seem to be able to! Decompressed is awesome. Kyle |

Hey guys Daniel here! I know the title is very close to Darwin Ortiz's excellent book 'Cardshark' ( I use a lot of effects from this book!) but yes Kyle is to blame! Well not really its just a play on words using my last name!
I really appreciate the kind words with regards to the DVD! All the effects I aim to be visual and strong, some can be performed straight away others will take a small bit of work to master. All the effects are performed in a live environment to lay people, you can see the reactions the material gets in the trailer! I'm as anxious as you guys and waiting to read a full review myself! Any questions about any of the material, thoughts you may have etc please feel free to send me a PM or email to : darkstar_xcm@hotmail.com Kind regards Daniel chard |

It's obviously a play on the phrase "Cardshark" which was around for decades before the appearance of Ortiz's book, so I wouldn't worry too much Dan!
