While babysitting the grandchildren today, the discussion with my 3 year old granddaughter turned to eyeballs. This was due to a creature n the Scooby episode we were watching, it had a large eyeball for a head atop a skelatel body. I let it slip that I had an eyeball at home in a jar.

She became excited and wants me to bring it next week, along with my Higley fingers, toes, ears, and monkey paw (I did not mention the shrunken heads to her). I told her that she would be scared if she saw them, so no.

She looked me in the eyes, very serious, pointing as she went said, "I have eyeballs, fingers, and toes and I'm not scared.".

How can you argue with that?
