Hi all,
I have never had the chance to meet Anthony Jacquin or have yet some of his products, but I just wanted to say here on the forum that in listening to interviews and such, Anthony Jacquin comes across as a good guy. More specifically, he comes across as a genuinely good and, in a positive sense, normal guy. I think that is probably one of the main reasons he is so successful. It is nice to see that you don't have to be weird to be good at hypnosis. As such, I can see why it must be so easy for him to gain rapport and trust from subjects. Just some thoughts. granterg |

To elaborate on my post, I think one of the challenges in doing hypnosis is to not come across as creepy or weird.
I think Anthony Jacquin does a good job of coming across as normal, and genuinely as a good guy, and so he succeeds in gaining trust and rapport with his subjects. granterg |

Thanks Granterg, you are too kind. Fortunately your kindness is not creepy or weird.

Often when he's talked to me in the past I felt he was sneering. AND, on leaving I would turn around quickly and he'd actually be flashing at me. I just don't think that's right.

Anthony has been, and continues to be a kind and generous personal resource on matters related to hypnosis, many of them "off the wall," a common malady of noverlists. He has always been generous with his time and with his knowledge for which I'm most grateful.
Since I no longer perform or practice hypnosis (except vacariously), my mileage with Anthony may vary. I can only speak from studying his works (along with those of many gifted others here) and from the experience of my contacts. On the basis of these, I agree totally with Granterg: Anthony's a nice, accessible, down-to-earth and sharing guy. This isn't to say that others here aren't, but simply to affirm that Anthony most definitely is. |

Totally? So Ant creeps you out just a little Richard? It could be said you and Ant are the very few hypnotists here with the main purpose is to SELL product. While most others are here to share with no profit in mind.
I'm sure you are both nice guys its called customer service. This place is just a place to pitch your dvds etc. And I notice less posts as the market is dwindling on here. If there was a surge in sales you both would be posting here all the time like you used to when there was more interest. |

I know many... I have been to the UK at many times in years gone by. Used to spend every other week in Europe in the mid 2000's...
I know a lot of decent people in the UK.... But in the world of hypnosis... If its a flame war... If its an oddball challenge.... If its a hair brained scheme... If its some wacky assault on other hypnotists... there is a 99% chance a UK hypnotist is behind it... LOL guess I phrased it wrong.. Ant does NOT creep me out at all.... But one of the UK exceptions...

Ive never seen a wacky or sensible assault on anyone. If you are talking about flame wars then that is nothing but playing around on
here. And that's right there are no hair brained hypnotists in America? Give me a break you guys are the center of the universe when it comes to hair brained psychic or hypnosis Ive not seen anything as daft as this in the UK ever. And your part of the world has loads of this.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpUtUQ5YC-Q And this is a brilliant episode of full length... Although Ross Jeffries comes across very well the rest are lunatics or con men. http://watchdocumentary.com/watch/louis-......da0.html Makes us Eccentric Brits look highly intelligent. |

I love Louis' show. I don't always agree with 100% of his premises but he comes off as a really nice guy. Heck, he was even nice to the Westboro Baptist Church members.
