Just got back from Cub Camp, where I gave the boys a magic lesson - they absolutely loved it!
I showed them the Jumping Rubber Band, with a couple of variations, and Two Card Monte (the original, not the DL, top-change one!) and that rope escape where the two people are linked by ropes tied around their wrists. A lot of them got pretty proficient with the rubber bands, and two kids told me it was their favourite session of the whole camp. Special thanks to the regular poster here, whose name escapes me, who PM'd me with some great ideas a few months ago - and his PM got deleted. If you know who you are - thanks (and please send me that stuff again - it was great, but it's gone!) |

It may have been me as I wrote the book on scout shows. It is my pleasure and I am so glad that you enjoyed the teaching and being able to perform at camps. Scout shows can be done year round if you know how to go about it. It really is a great and rewarding experience.
