And then there were two...Tomoyuki Shimomura & Toru Suzuki.
That's just great Killertweety, now I've got more homework to do...Magic Wagon & Magiro. |

Mr. Sugawara has a brand new one out today. It is called 'Mystery Donut'. Kinda rings a bell doesn't it. Very similar to the original. The demo is viewable at the same bat channel as the rest.

The Magic Wagon tricks really are gorgeous.
o,,,, magic wagon shows 6 pages of tricks. 6 tricks/page = 36 active tricks. 36 x $250/trick (?) = $9000 ish + discontinued tricks? I gotta find a new hobby. Like collecting sticks. |

I really really like that Mystery Doughnut, particularly because it does away with the awkward method of having a piece stuck to the underside the blade of the scissors! This is much cleaner!
And that Holey Stick is also very nice. Here I can see one thing that he's not able to do because it is made of wood and not plastic: the gimmick doesn't lock so you have to switch sticks in order for it to be examined, however I know a good way around that. Have to order these!! |

Does soemeone actually own one or more of Shigeru Sugawara's latest effects and if so can you write a review about them or just give your opinion?

I'm pleased to announce that on my next trip to Tokyo I will interview Mr. Sugawara at length about his many creations. The interview will eventually appear in Genii.

It is bad for us buyers (because of the wait time), but I am truly glad to see that 50% of Mr.Sugawaras' effects are temporarily sold out. For a man that has given so much to the field, it is just desserts that he reap some financial rewards, let alone receive additional individual recognition.

Wow...Seo re-stocks fast! Good for them & us. Just 25% temporarily sold out right now.
It's over 2 weeks since Mr.Sugawara released a new effect. What's the hold-up Suggy? |

Gotta say that the 'Guri-Guri Card' demo gets even better with repeated views. Oh, the wonder & mystery of it all!

I think you need to do the classic force as you want the card to be selected as in the video ... . The gimmick does look great though

It's just a quirk, but I like the Tenyo Card Changer better. It's a big, flashy plastic thing.
